Q: Will 22 inch rims Fit on a Buick Lacrosse?
Im thinking about purchasing some 22’s and i wanna know if there is any special tires to make 22’s fit

A: no, 22’s will fit, but not correctly, you may need to adjust your spedometer, and lift the car a couple of inches,I have 20’s on my impala, and my gps says I am going faster than my spedometer is saying, just a couple of miles though, but I had to lift the rear about an inch because three fat men as passengers would reack havok!

Q: New brakes on a 05 buick lacrosse cxl?
My car is currently at tires plus for new brakes, and rotors, and oil change. They called and gave me an estimate of 791. I need all 4 rotors replaced, and new brake/pads on the front only. Also they said I needed a fluid flush and cleaned the lines out. Am I getting ripped off?

A: The charges are probably in line for the work being done, but I question replacing the rear brake rotors without replacing the pads at the same time. New rotors work best and last longest with new brake pads. Also, the brake fluid flush is probably not absolutely necessary, but that’s most likely the smallest charge on the bill.

Q: Do you recommend a 2010 Buick LaCrosse?
The main concern is safety and quality. Is it an issue that the 2010 model year is being produced in a different factory and with a different platform than in previous years?

A: The LaCrosse is being built in Kansas City so quality is their #1 concern. They are not making this car is mass quantities b/c they are so anal about the quality. Just last month they stopped production when a certain standard was not achieved. Many other car makers would simply issue a TSB or recall their cars, not Buick. I wanted a new LaCrosse CXS badly, but sadly my income would not justify it. I ended up getting a Malibu LTZ w the V6. Actually, I have the same 3.6L used in the LaCrosse CXS so I’m happy. But I saved $8K by going that route. Anyway, yes the LaCrosse is a sweet car. Trim level is everything. They should be doing it now, but a new 2.4L direct inject 4 cyl is avalible for the CX trim. It makes 184hp vs. the 166hp in the Malibu & it still gets 33 mpg. Not bad. The 3.0L is new, but so far it’s ben a successful engine. They are using the same engine in the new Equinox/Terrain with great results & satisfaction. If you have the cash, get the LaCrosse. I like it & so will you.

Q: I need to know where the power steering reservoir is located on a 2006 buick lacrosse?

A: it should be right next to the power steering hydraulic pump, which is somewhere on the belt drive.

A: Does that regular service include your transmission?
Have your mechanic check your transmission fluid. It’s either low or burnt. Low most likely means a leak, burnt means you need work.

Q: My ‘05 Buick Lacrosse is making a strange noise. Everytime you accelerate you hear water moving . What is it

A: I’m doing this from memory as I’m out of the know anymore ,but it seems I remember something about GM had problems with the noise you are describing is the water rushing threw the heater core when you accelerate. I don’t remember the years or models but yours may be one. I believe the fix was to put a small restricter in the heater hose. Call your local Buick or GM dealer and ask about this problem and see if yours is one with the problem. And also how to fix it or get it fixed. Hope this at least gives you an idea and helps you…..ujn

Q: Buick Lacrosse and Lexus ES?
Ok, sorry but im a huge car fan and need to ask a question. The new buick lacrosse, at least i think, is a COMPLETE copy of the lexus ES. in the commercials, the cars interiors are identical, except the lexus came out a while ago. Any opinions?

A: Although the Lacrosse is a really great looking car, I would buy the Lexus because it will inevitably have better resale value.

Q: 2010 buick lacrosse price?
Now I don’t know how many of you know the new price for the new 2010 buick lacrosse. What I would like to know is will it be the same as it is now? or will it go up. Because I do like the car and it’s top on my list. I can buy the 2009 for as cheap as $29,450 here in canada and would be upset if that price will go up. Any accurate news about this that I can find?

Q: 2005 Buick Lacrosse or 2004 Dodge Intrepid?
I can’t afford either (Especially not the Buick), but I’d just like to know which is “better.”
And for the rude people who are telling me to go find out for myself: What do you think I’m doing? How do you think I got down to just two cars?

A: Buick by far, especially if its the 3800 v6. the intrepids are KNOWN by all to develop a fatal knock at or before 100,000. even when babied.
