Q: Is anyone familiar with the song from the Cadillac SRX commercial?
It opens with what sounds like a mandolin or strummed banjo and continues in sorta Louisiana style jazz with the lyrics : where’d you learn to do that so well (sung 2x). The melody and voice were compelling and to me quite moving. If anyone has any ideas I’d be thankful!!!

I note that there are two tabs holding a cover in place over the cabin filter. In which direction do I push the tabs? After pushing them, do I pull up on the tabs to remove the cover?
I note that there are two tabs above the cabin filter holding a cover. In which direction do I push the tabs – back, forward, down? How do I lift off the cover – does it spring loose, do I pull up on the tabs?

A: look under the hood iat the top near the passanger side there should be a compartment up there and under it is the filter

A: the srx costs somewhere between $35000-$50000. i would say you could lease one for $425. it really all depends on your down payment and credit

A: good luck, this is a real pain. either remove the front bumper or inner fender well. or try to gently bend the bumper to remove the headlight, then remove cover over turn signal bulbs with a torx bit. replace bulb reinstalled all

The hitch for your SRX (will not fit with sport package fascia) is #75174 – $198.78

There is no drilling required for installation, but minor heat shield modification may be required.

The hitch is rated to tow up to 3,500 lbs weight carrying and 5,000 lbs weight distributing. Which means you’d have to get a weight distribution set up like this – http://store.drawtite.com/dt7903.html in order to pull the heavier weight of 5,000 lbs.

The wiring will need to be wired to the battery. Your vehicle has LED taillights, so make sure you get a harness that is made for LED Lights.

A: The Cadillac has nearly a 100 year reputation for being top of the line for quality. Lexus has only been around for about 20 years.

A: Not unless its a small horse and trailer. Its based on the a car so it tows like one.

Standard towing is 2,000 lbs
Max towing is 4,250 lbs

If you want to tow that much weight you at least need a mid size truck based SUV.

How do you get at the cabin air filter on a 2010 SRX

A: check owners manual. or any auto parts store can show you. Usually are behind the glove box but can be under the vents in the front windshield on passenger side.

The only words are “falling” a few times. During the new commercial for the Cadillac SRX. The cadillac website only has the commercial for the old srx commercial.

Q: What is the song playing during 2011 Cadillac SRX commercial? It sounds like a 1920’s song.?
I am not talking about the one with the Phoenix song. This is a newer one. Saw the ad during Monday Night Football.

Q: im going to get a Cadillac CTS or a Cadillac SRX, which is a better all-around vehicle?
Just curious I’ve been debating for months!

A: I love both. My sister has the SRX (the mini-van style right?) and she loves it. I have driven it multiple times. I think the CTS is sporti-er but it has less storage room.

Q: Anyone own a Nissan Armada or a Cadillac SRX Suv?
I am looking to purchase one of these two vehicles and I was going to see if there were any owners out there that had likes or dislikes with these cars? I want something safe and comfortable for my children. I have already been to the government safety sites, but I wanted first hand opinions from real owners. I really like roomy vehicles with space in the back seat. Thanks!!

A: I owned 2 SRX’s and a friend has an Armada which I have driven a few times. They are both safe vehicles, however they do drive differently.

The SRX is built on the CTS Sigma Chassis, which means it’s an SUV body built on a car. The Armada is a full size SUV on a truck chassis, the Titan.

Both have V8’s with the Nissan having 317hp and the SRX having the Northstar 320hp V8, although the SRX comes standard with a 255hp V6. You would want to compare the Armada LE model to the SRX in order to get the leather, heated seats, and memory seating which is standard on the SRX.

Basically, the SRX has a smoother ride with an even power delivery. The 3rd row is pretty much useless, but the Ultra-View sunroof in a great option. This is a good choice and is a solid car, however Cadillac is coming out with a new SRX for 2010, which could effect the resale value, but if you keep it 4 or more years, then it won’t matter.

The Armada is a powerful SUV that has great interior room like the first 2 rows of the SRX, however the Armada seems easier to get in and out of. It is also exactly 1 foot longer than the SRX.

They are both good vehicles and respectible in their individual classes. Good luck and I hope this helps.

A: take it to a tune up shop get a diagnostic test done. could be a sensor going bad, could also be catalytic convertor going bad

Q: how to turn off speed limit on cadillac SRX 2005?
here is the question. there is a speed limit set to 125 mph. and i want to turn it off because i’m going out of town. and this really bothers me. any chance to turn it off? if so tell me how. thnx in advance.

A: You would have to take it to someone with access to a Tech 2, very expensive. The speed limiter would then be able to be removed, but remember the reason its there in the first place is to not over drive the factory tires. So if you were to get the limiter removed, to drive the vehicle safely at those speeds new tires will be needed.
