Q: $ 24000 Out of the Door for 2009 Nissan Rogue FWD SL Model. Is this a good price? ?
I live in Los Angeles and a dealer gave me $ 24000 Out of the Door price for Nissan Rogue 2009 SL FWD model.
I am planning to buy in Dec 09.

Is this a good price? Will the price decrease in Jan 2009?

Expert Opinions please!

A: The price automatically decreases when you buy it, It’s just the way it is. I think it’s a great price for a 2009 model though. I have a 2009 Nissan Rogue and it’s verry nice to ride in, also it picks up speed verry fast so I love my car. :)

Q: Question about Rust Protection on the Nissan Rogue?
HI.

Just wondering on people’s thoughts on purchasing a “protection” package for a 08 Nissan Rouge.

Including packages from www.finalcost.ca
Electronic Rust Protection ( not a spray) (definite)

Optional:
Xzilon Ultimate Paint Protection
Fabric and Carpet Protector
Paint Bubbling Coverage..

Should I go for the whole package or just the rust Protection:?

Also How bout a 3M hood protector? Should I pick that up for the 08 Rogue as well?

A: doubt that anything except the 3M hood protector will stop rust. I could not find Finalcost.ca? Ziebart would by my choice for undercoating Carpet and fabric protector go out and buy 12 cans do it the first vacuum job. Soak the seats several time and let dry and carpets too save the $. Sounds like what you have above is the dealership added package you can do much better shopping for those protective measures your self. Just make it clear you do not want your car dealer protected and you are not going to pay extra for there services.

Q: Does the Nissan Rogue have a light in the cargo space?
I’m thinking of buying a used Rogue or a Murano. I have test driven the Murano and I really like it, but I also like that the Rogue is a little smaller, but I haven’t driven it yet. I thought I read somewhere that back cargo space doesn’t have a light. Is that true.

A: The SL model has a rear cargo light.

The S model does not.

I wouldn’t make this the final decision in purchasing it though. It would be very easy to add one.

Q: My Nissan Rogue is accelerating sluggishly and reverse doesn’t work?
Is this a transmission issue?

A: yes

Q: What do you think of the Nissan Rogue?
Would you say that the Rogue would be a masculine, feminine, or both type of SUV?

A: 40% masculine
60% feminine

Q: What Octane Gasoline is good for Nissan Rogue 2009? How is Costco gas?
The manual says recommended Octane is 87, but with that the engine performance does not seem to be so good. Should I go for 91 Octane ?

Also how is the quality of gas supplied by Costco?

A: If the recommended octane is 87 then you will gain absolutely nothing by using 91. The engine can not use the extra octane and it is just a waste of money. Any performance gain you think you are getting is probably all in your head. The guys who designed and built the thing and spent millions of miles testing it usually have a pretty fair idea of what it needs. 87 is fine.

As for Costco gas, they get it from the same trucks as most independent gas stations.

Q: im thinking about buying a new car or suv and was wondering if the new 2010 Nissan Rogue was a good suv?
2010 nissan rogue…was wondering if its a good suv….and can you also get a dvd entertainment system in it like a tv on the celing??

A: Nissan Rogue is a great SUV. Also in it’s market are the Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester and Toyota Rav-4.

I believe on the highest trim of the Rogue you can get a DVD system.

Q: Does anyone have any input on the Nissan Rogue?
I’m trading in my 07 Sentra for a 09 Rogue. With the new baby being in the Sentra, it’s too snug. I was just wondering if anyone had anything to say about it before we drive off the lot with it tomorrow night!

A: CONGRATULATIONS! You’ll be driving your baby in a baby Nissan Murano.

Q: Is the iphone 3G bluetooth and the 2010 Nissan Rogue SL Bluetooth compatible?
I read somewhere online they arent but I don’t know how that would be. Does anyone have this car and are able to use their iphone with it? Thanks!!

A: It takes only a couple seconds to pair the phone. But before you go out and buy a I-Phone 3G look in the Owners hand book supplement and even call the 1-800 number and ask some one at Nissan Dealership if necessary. Signing a contract for 2 or 3 years on a Phone that will not pair to your car? I think it will work. Your microphone is near the map light and phone calls come thru the passengers side floor speaker. That is done for feed back and echo issues

Q: I am getting a Nissan Rogue this summer. What color should I get?
First off, I am a guy. I really like the Stone White and the Gotham Gray. I also think that the Iridium Graphite looks really sharp on the Rogue. The only thing I am worried about is if the Iridium Graphite is a girl color. Is it too purple?

A: Get whatever color you want.

Q: How many people does a Subaru Tribeca,a Nissan Rogue, and a Toyota Highlander hold?
I would like to buy one of them, but I’m not sure which one to choose. They all look sleek and stylish,
but I want an SUV that holds at least 8 people.

A: i dont think any of those fit eight max five especially the rogue the tribeca i heard has a third row (it holds 7) and so does the highlander but the highlander third row really only fits little kids have you checked out the trailblazer or the envoy they also seat seven none with eight in your selections.

Q: What’s the difference between a Nissan Rogue and a Nissan Murano?
They look identical except for the name on the back. How are they different?

A: Engine size and cargo space. Also, the Murano is a little bit more high end so has a few more features. Both are luxury based so have more cool features than say the xTerra. Both have the awesome intelligikey (I don’t know how to spell it.

I couldn’t afford a Murano, so I went with the xTerra because it had more space than the Rogue.

Q: can i change my nissan rogue after its already bought?
my parents bought me a nissan rogue except when they went to the dealership to buy it, they didnt take me with them because it was supposed to be a surprise. so as a result, i didnt get everything i would have wanted in it. if i take it to the dealership could they put stuff that i want in it without having to buy a new car?

A: I agree with the first 2 posters about being thankful for what you have been given.
However, I’m also a young woman and my parents bought me a Nissan Rogue. Pretty much everything can be added, but it will be very expensive if it’s not bought with the original car. The only thing that you cannot change is the AWD vs. FWD. If you want tinted windows, a moon roof, or leather, go to a custom car place. Definitely get a few quotes on what you want to do, but Nissan will probably charge more than custom shops.
Personally, unless your parents want to add things for you, I would just enjoy the car. It’s a great car and you don’t really NEED the luxury features.

ADD: Actually leather is better to get aftermarket. It’s only about $1000 and you can upgrade the leather to whatever you like. The leather option is almost $4000 more than the base SL. If you don’t want the other options that come with that package, then it is best to go aftermarket. I’ll be upgrading my Rogue to leather once my fabric wears out.

Q: When is the 2009 Nissan Rogue being released?
And is it better to get the 2008? Or will the 2009 version have all the kinks worked out?

A: if it is a true 2009 then it will be released in late Aug-DEC.

Q: when can i get the nissan rogue?
Anyone know any details about when its coming out. I keep hearing fall (it is fall) but noone I’ve spoken to knows a date. I would like to hold out but i really need something soon.

A: I work at a Nissan dealership and we have 4 coming in within the next 6 weeks. The first is to arrive is 2 weeks from now. From what I can see from our pre release articles and dvds it will be worth your while to wait if you can.The Rogue looks to be a great vehicle and I am sure they will sell fast.
