Q: How much does it cost to replace the front bumper of a new Toyota sienna?
My younger sister just had a car accident. She hit some guy’s front bumper. Is a new Toyota sienna, the damage are that there are scratches and there is a small cracked. How much does it cost to get it fix? Does it require to replace the whole front bumper? We dont want to report insurance since she is a new driver.

A: fix is about $220 give or take $60. This can also reflect how well it’s fixed. To replace a bumper of a brand new vehicle in a shop can cost twice that or more. However i had my front bumper fixed when i hit a taller curb and it costed $180 i was quoted $220 and it was unnoticeable damage from 5 feet away you had to crouch to see it.

Q: What is the exact brake bleeding sequence for a Toyota Sienna?
I would like to know the exact sequence for a 2005 Toyota Sienna. I would appreciate if it was the actual one and not the generic answer of start furthest away from the master cylinder thanks!

A: Far to close.

Q: Has anyone replace a new motor for their Toyota sienna sliding door?
I have 2004 toyota sienna van and the sliding door is not working. The dealership charges $2000 to fix it. I want to fix it at home to save money. Any advices how to replace a a new motor would greatly appreciated. Also where can I buy a cheap motor.

A: How about using stepper motors??

Q: What year did Toyota Sienna start putting two (dual) sliding doors on their vans?
Wanting to buy an older Sienna. Wondering what was the oldest year you could buy a Toyota Sienna with dual sliding side doors. (Oh and if you know, what model XL, XLE, LE, whatever was it?)

Thanks!!

A: The first generation Sienna, 98-03, will have dual power sliding doors and a power lift gate with key-less entry only with the XLE package. The trim levels in order of lowest to highest options are CE, LE, and XLE. Also the second generation Sienna 04-08 was avialible with dual power sliding doors and a power lift gate with key-less entry only with the XLE. However the second generation Sienna was so customizable that you might, although extremely rare, be able to find an LE with the dual doors feature.

Good Luck

Q: How much money does it cost to fill up the gas tank on a Toyota Sienna? What’s the gas mileage?
I am looking into getting a 2002 Toyota Sienna w/ 90,000 miles for $8,000. Do you think that’s a good deal? I am just worried that it will cost WAY too much to drive. Currently, I drive a Kia Rio & I am not used to spending more than $25 at the pump.

A: Average cost to fill a Sienna $63.00. This vehicle has a 21 gallon tank and with gas @ $3.00 per gallon you do the math.

The average driver will get about 18 – 22 MPG out of a Sienna minivan. This should be enough information to let you know if it is in your price range or not.

Good Luck, if you get it you will enjoy it, if you would like better Gas Mileage look into the GM vans.. typically those drivers get about 25 – 30 MPG. But you will have more repairs than with the Sienna.

Q: Can I move a queen bed in or on top of a Toyota Sienna?
Moving 15 miles away to college and as I am paying for everything, want to lessen the cost as much as possible. Thus, I was wondering if my queen bed would fit inside of a Toyota Sienna. Thanks in advance.
Also: What materials are best for tying the beds down if that’s the best option?

A: I have moved 2 different queen sets using a Sienna with in the last 2 months. They won’t fit inside but if you tie it on to the roof really well you should be good to go. I would recommend sticking to the back roads and go slow and steady. Good luck!

Q: How to find a toyota sienna in the philippines?

Q: What do I need to know before I take a Toyota Sienna’s grinding brakes in for repair?
When the brakes are applied on a 1999 Toyota Sienna, there is a horrific grinding noise. A pretty loud grinding noise. My strong belief is that the brakes are well past their useful life, and have probably been driven to the point where the repair is going to be expensive.

So, now, before I take it into a shop and “trust” someone to diagnose and repair the problem, I am wondering if I can pull the wheels and see how much damage is involved. Is there anyone who can give me a laundry list of items to look at, what okay/not okay looks like, and… maybe even a very rough cost magnitude if it is known?

For what it is worth, I am not a mechanic but I can easily get a jack take a wheel off and look at things. It sure would be nice to know something when I am dealing with an auto repair shop. At the moment, I am a sitting duck for a dishonest garage.

A: The only thing you need to know is your bank balance.

The rotors are shot. You need pads, rotors, probably new calipers, and if the grinding was caused by a faulty master cylinder, you will need one of those too. There is a good chance that contamination got into the brake lines on at least one of the calipers due to the drawback of brake fluid from excessive caliper piston movement, so you may even need a new brake line. That is of course the worst case scenario.

All in all I would roughly guess at a 600 to 800 dollar repair bill, but it may be more.

Q: How can I replaced my Toyota Sienna key?
I lost my Toyota Sienna key with the attached remote control for the security device. Where can I find a replacement? I feel without good replacement most of the features on the car that remote controlled may cease to function as normal.

A: Locksmith or dealer. Dealer only isn’t true.

Q: where can i find a replacement tweeter for 2003 toyota sienna?
I have a 2003 toyota sienna symphony (with JBL package). the factory tweeter is busted on the right and i want to replace it. i looked on crutchfield and it says no after market tweeters fit the space. the back of the broken tweeter says JBL 86160-08090 6859 RH. any ideas where i could get a replacement?

A: You could either call JBL and try to get a direct-replacement, get one through the dealer, or buy a new pair.

If you replace it with a different one then what came with it (and what is on the other side of the car), it’ll be screwy. Your best bet would be to get a new pair of JBL tweeters, in this case.

Have Fun!

Q: Can you buy a replacement controller for the dvd player in the 2005 Toyota Sienna?

I know alot of people owning the Odyssey but isn’t toyota the well quality car maker?

For those owning the Odyssey, why didn’t you select the Sienna?

I’m narrowing my choice of a family car to Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna and Nissian Pathfinger (people said a gas eater)

How much is it to change oil on the Odyssey? I can buy the Sienna with life free oil change, but I’m curious why there’re alot of Odyssey owners….
Please help me!

A: I own a Honda Odyssey and i guess i own it because i find it much smoother than any other car. Especially compared to Toyota Sienna.

Q: how much will it cost to replace 2 pistons in a 2000 toyota sienna?
My toyota sienna blew two pistons the other night. i need to replace them but i am curious how much i might have to pay. anybody out there with this unfortunate experience?

A: Why did they blow? I’d be more worried about scoring of the cylinders. They can’t be bored so you might be looking at replacing the block too. Get a good used motor from a wrecker with a warranty.

Q: How do I replace an a/f sensor in a toyota sienna 2003?
How can I replace an a/f sensor in a toyota sienna 2003? a Light came on, so the diagnostics said one of the a/f sensors were bad.

A: More commonly called an o2 sensor (oxygen sensor). First, figure out which one. There are probably 2 front o2s (front meaning before the catalytic converter) and 2 rear o2s (rear meaning behind the catalytic converter). The front o2 sensors deal with air/fuel mixture, so its probably one of the fronts (or both). The rear o2s are part of the on board emissions.

But whichever one it is, all you do to replace them is unplug the wiring connector and unscrew it from the exhaust pipe, and then screw in the new one and plug in the connector. They may be hard to get out, so you may want to spray a penetrating oil on the threads.
